The following notice describes what information the Logikos Overview Mobile Application collects about you or your devices and what permissions it requires.

OVERVIEW

The Logikos Overview Mobile Application (the "App") is an extension of the Logikos Overview system (the "System"). This means that you cannot create your account via the App but with a System’s account representative. Once you have created your account, you can access it with a username and password that you use to access the System. That information is required to gain access to the App.

DATA COLLECTION & USAGE

Camera

The camera is accessed by the App in order to provide to provide bar code scanning capability. This capability will scan asset / tracker device and QR codes for search purposes.

Customer Information

When you use the App, we will collect and store the following information about you:

  • first and last name
  • email address
  • phone number (optional)
  • username

You are granted an access token when you log in via the App. This token is the item utilized for all transactions with System. The token is renewed with each successful login to the System. You have the option to securely store your login information with the App. This will encrypt and store with your mobile device your user id along with a refresh token that represents your successful login to the System. Passwords are encrypted and stored, but not on the mobile app. The refresh token may expire, requiring you to re-login. No other customer information is used by the application.

GPS Data

The App utilizes your mobile devices’ current location to triangulate your reference to your device on a map. The tracking of devices is part of the overall System. All such GPS data is only utilized to triangulate your device and not stored with the System.

Internet Access

The App will access the Internet via your mobile device’s cellular or Wi-Fi connection. This is to provide the App with the ability to communicate with the System via a secure HTTPS protocol to transmit data via REST APIs.

APP PERMISSIONS & USER PRIVACY CHOICES

Camera Access

App may ask for camera access. This is utilized for the bar code scanner feature on map / asset filtering.

Location Services

The Location Services permission is granted automatically on the first installation and usage of the App. This allows the App to access GPS data for client-owned device triangulation for display on a map. To disable this permission, navigate to your mobile devices Application Permissions. The disabling of this feature will prevent easy locating of your devices on the map display.

3RD PARTY SERVICES

Google Maps API

Provides the service for displaying your owned devices on a map within the App. See Google Maps Platform - Location and Mapping Solutions for details of what it provides to the App.
