**IMPORTANT**
Connect the battery to the solar charge controller before you connect anything else to the solar charge controller.
Mount the solar panel (Figure 1) using the Z clamps (Figure 2), in a location where it will get maximum sun exposure
Run the ten feet of red/black cable with the weather tight MC4 connectors (Figure 3) from the solar panel to the solar charge controller. The connectors are polarized so they will only connect one way to the solar panel.
There is also 5 feet of red/black cable with battery terminals already crimped on (Figure 4). This will connect the battery to the solar charge controller (Figure 5).
The tracker will connect directly to the solar charge controller (Figure 5) load terminals. Connect the tracker red AND white wires to the +Load terminal and the black wire to the -Load terminal. The solar charge controller terminals are (from left to right), solar panel, battery, load.
The battery box (Figure 6) comes with the tie-down strap, however, we would still recommend screwing the battery box directly to the floorplate of the trailer.
To complete the installation you will need a deep cycle marine/RV battery (Figure 7) (you can get these from Walmart or any other such place that sells large vehicular batteries https://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Lead-Acid-MarineBattery-Group-24MS-1000-CA/137183086 ) and some RTV. Anytime there is a penetration of the trailer skin, please be sure to use copious amounts of Silicone/RTV to seal the holes (Figure 8)
