Read the Results

Each row is one location and one equipment category, with the count of that category at that location. A location with more than one category gets one row per category.

ColumnWhat It Means
Container Asset NameThe warehouse, vehicle or job site holding the equipment (for example, A-TRUCK 107 or Main Warehouse).
Container Asset TypeWhat kind of location it is, such as Warehouse, Water Loss Vehicle or Water Loss Job Site. These types come from how your company set up its assets.
Equipment CategoryThe category of equipment, such as Air Scrubber or Heater.
Equipment Category CountHow many pieces of that category are at that location right now.

Equipment Whose Location Is Not Known

Two special rows collect equipment that isn't confirmed to be in a warehouse, vehicle or job site:

RowWhat It Means
<Equipment was Dropped>Equipment that left a vehicle somewhere other than a warehouse or job site.
Unseen TagsEquipment whose tag hasn't been seen by any tracker for a while, so its current location can't be confirmed.

TIP

Check these two rows regularly. To find out where a dropped or unseen piece is, use the Missing Equipment report or Find > Dropped Equipment and Find > Unseen Equipment.

About "No Category"

Equipment that hasn't been given a category is counted under No Category. If most of your equipment shows up there, the report can only tell you how much equipment is at each location, not what kind.

IMPORTANT

To get a useful breakdown, assign a category to your equipment types under Admin > Asset Type and Admin > Asset Type Category. Equipment Categories
